Ben Hawes State Park is best known for its golf facilities, which include an 18-hole regulation course, and a nine-hole, par-three course. Its position in the Kentucky countryside also allows for hiking, mountain biking, and picnicking opportunities, not to mention an archery course and multiple sports fields. The park lies four miles west of downtown Owensboro, off of Highway 60.
