The Owensboro Museum of Science is a family-friendly learning center with three permanent exhibit galleries. Visitors can choose from such interactive displays as the SpeedZeum motorsports area; the Encounter room with magnet bridges, shadow puppets, and other forms of "edu-tainment"; and the PlayZeum, a colorful environment for young children. The Museum lies on the downtown waterfront, next to the Tourist Commission office.
